March is Teen Tech Month

Teen Tech Week is officially March 8-14 2015 but since we have so much planned we decided that March is TEEN TECH MONTH at our Teen Department. Check the calendar because we have events scheduled every day this month.

Stop by anytime March 9-14 to Guess the Tech. We will have a table of technology from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. The teens who correctly guess the most items will be entered into a drawing to win a prize. How old school tech are you???
March 15-20 is Snap Circuit Week. Drop by and try out one of our Snap Circuit kits.

Saturday, March 21 from 1-3 pm
The Maker Station @ Innovation Pointe presents:

“Innovative Projects”
Want to learn about Arduino and Raspberry Pi? The Maker Station staff will be in the Teen Activity Room to demonstrate these and other cool tech items.
Drop in March 23-28 to make iPod speakers using 2 plastic cups, a paper towel tube and some Duct tape. These speakers also work for Android phones.
