The Dark Unwinding – Book Trailer

The-Dark-Unwinding-Final-Cover-1

When Katharine Tulman’s inheritance is called into question by the rumor that her eccentric uncle is squandering away the family fortune, she is sent to his estate to have him committed to an asylum. But instead of a lunatic, Katharine discovers a genius inventor with his own set of rules, who employs a village of nine hundred people rescued from the workhouses of London.

Katharine is now torn between protecting her own inheritance and preserving the peculiar community she grows to care for deeply. And her choices are made even more complicated by a handsome apprentice, a secretive student, and fears for her own sanity.

As the mysteries of the estate begin to unravel, it is clear that not only is her uncle’s world at stake, but also the state of England as Katharine knows it.

Changes in 2014

Happy New Year everyone!

This is just a quick update letting you know of the changes to our programming schedule in the teen department.

First off, we finally changed our blog theme from the 2013 Summer Reading program black and red back to its standard white and blue. No more annoying white text on a black ground. Let us know what you think!
During the school year we’ll start putting more emphasis on weekend programs to accommodate teen’s schedules. Check Calendar For Art and Drawing Workshops. We want to start up a program where young aspiring artists can come and share ideas, tips, and advice to enhance their talents and skills.

Anime lovers can enjoy hanging out one Saturday afternoon a month, and discussing their favorite anime. Cosplay welcome!

This Month

Homemade Valentines on the 25th & 26th (Saturday & Sunday)

Lego Club on the 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th (every Monday)
