January's Love Your Librarian - Kim
Kim Bean has worked for the Ohio Township Public Library System for four years. She has worked at all three branches and now is working in the Children’s Department at the Central Library.
Kim is originally from Chicago. She was in the Navy when she was young. She lived in Puerto Rico for one year while serving in the Navy.
Kim now lives in Newburgh and is the mother of six children, ages 16 to 35 years old. She has 5 sons, 1 daughter, 2 cats and 2 birds.
Cheeseburger in Paradise is Kim’s favorite restaurant. Her favorite author is Ted Dekker. Her favorite adult book is “Saving CeeCee Honeycutt.” One of Kim’s favorite children’s books is “Homer, the Library Cat.”
Kim hopes to someday visit Europe and tour the many castles there. If you see Kim in the library, be sure and stop by and say hello to her. She is a very nice lady.
