Grief is the normal response to loss and no two people react to a loss the same way. According to WebMD, social support, good self-care, and the passage of time are usually the best medicine for grieving.
The Ohio Township Central Library and H.E.L.P. (Healthcare Education Learning Partners) are collaborating for a Lunch & Learn program that will give families information to help them deal with their grief. This free lunch and informational session takes place on Wednesday, July 10 at 12:00 p.m. in the Diamond Room at the Ohio Township Central Library in Newburgh.
Genevieve McGuire, a chaplain with SouthernCare Hospice in Evansville, will be the speaker. She will provide a positive, uplifting look at the bereavement process.
