In 1953, the USS New Jersey, America’s most decorated battleship navigated the Panama Canal enroute to North Korea. The ship traveled through the Culebra Cut, the narrowest portion of the Canal. Bill Denham, now retired US Navy was there. On Tuesday, July 9 he will share a presentation that includes photographs he took on that occasion. The program begins at 6:30pm in the Diamond Room at OTPL/Central Library.
A question & answer portion will follow his one hour presentation about the battleship and the canal.
