Financial literacy is essential to success in future endeavors. The skills needed to make informed, effective, intelligent decisions can be problematic if you don’t or can’t plan. Thursday, June 27 from 6-7pm in the Emerald Room OTPL/Central Library is hosting three representatives from Ameriprise Financial, First Security Bank and the law firm of Fine and Hatfield who will be available to share useful financial knowledge on a variety of topics. For example:
Jared Voellinger, Banking Center Manager with First Security Bank will discuss debt management, deposit management, and offer tips on making banking easier.
Jennifer Casten-Juhl, Financial Advisor from Ameriprise will discuss setting personal financial goals and strategies and ideas for saving for retirement.
Beau Dial, a member of Fine & Hatfield, will discuss basic estate planning, non-traditional estate planning, and pitfalls that many families/individuals encounter after the death of a loved one.
Light snacks will be provided.
