Death surprises and scares us. Despite the fact that humans have a 100% mortality rate, we still don’t expect to die. If you don’t expect to die, then you’re unlikely to preplan a funeral. This can lead to problems like family discord, higher costs, overspending, and unnecessary stress added to grief.
Maybe you don’t care what people will do about you after your death (… after all, you won’t be around to enjoy it). But the people who love you … care deeply. Funerals are not for the dead, but for the living.
Laura Bush, Director of Preplanning at Browning Funeral Home, will present this seminar that will provide an overview of the process and the benefits of planning in advance.
